Over the past ten years, I have had the privilege of undergoing two successful surgical procedures at this esteemed medical facility. The subsequent postoperative care I received was truly exceptional. From the initial consultation to the final follow-up appointment, my experience has been consistently positive, and I have nothing but the utmost praise for the highly skilled and dedicated personnel.
I was a day care patient for key hole surgery at The Woodthorpe - what can i say? Friendly, efficient, tentative, very caring staff from start to finish from the staff nurse to the anaesthetist to the surgeon. No waiting around, the procedure was like clockwork, i was in and out with a general anaesthetic within 4.5 hours. The room was spotless, the food was fresh. I have not had to take a painkiller since i have been home. Cant thank you all enough .
Came here for a day procedure and from the point of arriving I was taken care of perfectly. Super friendly staff, facilities were nice especially the private rooms. Very comfy beds. Special shout out to my two nurses Darlene and Danny (I hope I remembered their names right! ) you guys were so helpful, a smile on their faces always and explained everything. Also special thanks to my doctor for being so informative, anaesthetists for making me feel comfortable, and everyone involved really. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone needing treatment. Thanks guys
Very positive experience once admitted for knee replacement, staff were very caring, and actually listened to patient concerns. The food was lovely. Physiotherapy was so good that I opted to travel to the hospital each time to see the same physiotherapist rather have a more convenient and local referral.
Very positive experience at Woodthorpe for a 2 night stay to have my left knee replaced. Both surgical and nursing staff were wonderful, nothing could be too much (and believe me this is one time in life when you need A LOT of support!). Choice of food was good, particularly enjoyed a delicious Eton Mess for pudding. Communications before and after the op were very good, proactive and never left me in any doubt of what was expected of me. Thank you.
