Friendly, polite and welcoming reception staff and a nice airy reception area with refreshments available. From pre-assessment to post op and aftercare, everything went very smoothly. The nurses are amazing too, nothing was too trouble and they went out of their way to put me at ease. The communication has been spot on from the start to the finish and I would definitely recommend this hospital.
My recent experience at the Spire Hospital Walderslade was excellent. Mr. James Smith and his team, Graham, Mick and Sandra looked after me when I had my hip replacement as did the lovely nurses Bonny, Stephanie and Chi Chi. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
NHS patient referred by GP for small surgical procedure on left hand... Required to wait in car until collected by staff, private room to wait until my place on surgeons list. Everything was explained to me before, during, and after procedure, enjoyed a light meal afterwards. When my wife arrived to take me home, a member of staff was kind enough to make her a cup of coffee, as she'd had a difficult rush hour journey, and needed a break. Everyone was kind, helpful, tolerant, and understanding, I'm appreciative of the care I received.
Throughout my time at the Spire Alexandra, I felt like everyone went above and beyond. I required knee surgery and was sent here by my NHS doctor. After seeing a consultant, it was only 6 weeks before my actual operation. For the day, I was given my own private room with Wifi, bathroom and TV. Before the operation I was seen by several nurses, the physio, anaesthetist and surgeon (Mr Thilagarajah). Each one clearly explaining what would happen at different points. After surgery, I was given excellent care, once again seen by the nurses and physio. I was walked through the expectations of recovery, next steps in care of the knee, and given pain medication. There was nothing that I could fault from any member of staff. Thank you for all your hard work.
Outstanding care. The members of staff in reception always smiling and so helpful, quick response to calls and emails. I saw Mr Penman a few times who was lovely and genuinely wanted to help. One of the treatments was in x-ray department and again the staff there was lovely and made me feel at ease during my hycosy. Fast results and reasonable prices for faster peace of mind. Will return when needed. Thanks
