I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received today. From when I arrived until I left everyone, the administration staff, the optometrists and Dr Cronin, treated me professionally, with care, good humour and kindly explained to me what was involved each step of the way as I proceeded through their assessment of my eyes. It was all so efficient and there was very little delay between the various examinations. Dr Cronin was particularly positive and reassuring. He explained clearly what he judged as the best action for my well being and listened attentively to me. I felt genuine gratitude to him for the time he spent with me. Thank you Dr Cronin and team . I am a patient of Doc. Shama. I have been under his care for 2+ years. His care is the best I have had in a long time. He always asks what happening and he actually appears to care. You are not a number. The nurses in recovery are the best and never push you out the door. Only problem is your appointment time and your treatment is about 20 to 50 minutes late. I alway expect with any type service.

The staff and doctors at Queensland Eye Institute in Melbourne Street were systematic and organized. Dr. Payne was accommodating and very well versed. The only downside is that we waited for almost 2 hours despite having an appointment.

Optometrist Carmen did my cross linking procedure - I felt so comfortable as soon as I went into the procedure room. She talked me through every thing she was doing, made sure I felt comfortable the whole way through and constantly assured me I was doing a great job. Thank you Carmen! Having someone like you doing my procedure made it so much more comforting and it is truly appreciated! Dr David Gunn is such an amazing doctor and I would happily suggest him to anyone! Despite his busy schedule, he made the effort to come into the procedure room to see how I was doing and if I had any questions - thank you doctor!!
