Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Specialist

Dr. Behçet Şahin graduated from medical school in 2008. He completed his specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital between 2009 and 2014, qualifying as an ENT specialist in 2014. In 2016, he successfully passed the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Board Examination.

Between 2016 and 2021, Dr. Şahin worked as an ENT specialist and Deputy Chief Physician at a private hospital. Since 2021, he has been caring for patients at his own private clinic.

With a particular focus on rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgery, Dr. Şahin continues to develop his knowledge and surgical expertise through courses, congresses and practical training programmes in Türkiye and abroad. In 2022, he attended Dr. Süreyya Şeneldir’s Rhinoplasty School Observership Programme and an observership programme with Professor Erkan Soylu. His continuing professional education covers rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow surgery, deep plane face and neck lift surgery, and endoscopic temporal lifting.

On 30 June 2026, he successfully passed both the written and oral components of the European Board Examination in Facial Plastic Surgery, held in Lisbon, Portugal, earning European certification in facial plastic surgery.

He is an active member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), the Turkish Society of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, and the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Society.

Dr. Şahin’s clinic holds an International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye and is listed on the HealthTürkiye portal.
