Overview
Dr. Lacy Kessler and Dr. Hayley Voige were both born at Hillcrest Hospital here in Waco Texas. They grew up just a few houses down from one another on Deerwood Drive. While they were not close as children being several years apart in school, they both grew up active in the Waco community. Dr. Kessler stayed in town to attend Baylor University and Dr. Voige branched out to become a Rice Owl. They both ventured to medical school, attended residencies in OBGYN and returned home to Waco upon completing their medical educations. Dr. Voige became a staff OBGYN at family practice center and a few years later Dr. Kessler returned to town to open a private practice. After several years working together peripherally at the hospital, the two young women decided to join together to create a comprehensive wellness center for women. Having spent their lives in this community they are dedicated to enhancing the lives of women in central Texas. Remembering where their dreams of becoming healthcare providers began, and the place they called home, they have named their practice Deerwood Women’s Health & Wellness. As their team has grown and their patient volume has expanded, Dr. Kessler and Dr Voige have expanded their clinic to offer more in-house procedures and have created a large addition to the office to further serve your needs.

This office is really great. I went here in January to get my scheduled pap done. I had Kim and she was super sweet. I had explained to her how my husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for about a year with no success and she encouraged me to start using ovulation strips. I was pregnant less than two months later! I now see dr. Kessler and she’s just the absolute sweetest. She really makes you feel heard and at ease. I’m a very anxious person so this is really important to me. She is calming but also tells you like it is. The nurses at Deerwood are also very kind. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the whole staff and they all make you feel very welcomed. I know I’m in good hands while I’m here.
My sister-in-law recommended me to see Dr. Kessler after I was searching for a new OBGYN after moving to Waco from Fort Worth. I have been a patient for about 3 years now and have been pleased with the whole practice. Dr. Kessler is always so kind and cheerful. I always feel supported and treated well and not just another patient on the calendar. The nurses and front staff are friendly and are easy to reach if I have questions that need special attention outside of appointments. I am having my first child in October and I couldn’t be happier that Dr. Kessler and everyone at Deerwood Women’s has been on this journey with me.
